DESCRIPTION
Built for a major shopping center in Laval, the objective was to capitalize on additional parking spaces while minimizing the impact on the day-to-day operations of the center. It was also the concern of the owners and designers to visually marry the new structure and the existing one. This initiative proved very successful.
This project gave rise to a structural innovation by creating niches in the spandrel beams to embed the legs of the double T.
